At Digital Equality Foundation, our mission is to bridge the digital divide by providing new or used computers to students, individuals and families. We believe that everyone deserves access to the digital world, as it opens doors to learning, opportunity, and innovation. Our goal is to empower underserved communities with the tools they need to thrive in a connected world.
Our Mission
In today’s digital age, technology is not just a luxury—it’s a necessity. Yet, many students and individuals lack access to the devices they need to succeed in their educational and professional journeys. Digital Equality Foundation is dedicated to changing this by repurposing old computers, giving them a new life and a new purpose. By providing these devices to those in need, we aim to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and make a impactful difference.
How It Works
Donate Your Devices: We accept donations of new and used computers and laptops in working or repairable condition. Whether it’s a laptop that’s no longer needed or a desktop that’s gathering dust, your contribution will make a significant impact.
Refurbishment and Repair: Our team of skilled volunteers and technicians will refurbish and repair the donated devices, ensuring they are in excellent working condition before they are distributed.
Distribution: Once the devices are ready, they are distributed to students and individuals who need them most. We partner with schools, community organizations, and local outreach programs to ensure the devices reach those who will benefit from them.
Ongoing Support: We provide ongoing support to our recipients, offering guidance on how to use the technology effectively and access to additional resources for learning and development.
